About us

Movers North America is a free matching service for household and small business moves in the Hamptons, on the East End of Long Island. We are not a moving company: we do not own trucks, employ crews or set prices. When you send a request, we pass it to up to three independent licensed movers that serve your ZIP code, and they contact you with their quotes.

Who the movers are

Moving companies join the network by applying on our page for moving companies. Before a company receives requests, we check its operating authority: NYSDOT household goods authority for moves within New York, and a USDOT number with FMCSA authority for interstate moves. Each company chooses the towns and ZIP codes it serves.

How the service is paid for

It is free for customers. Moving companies pay for the requests they receive. We do not take a share of the price you agree with the mover, and we do not rank one company above another.

Where we work

We cover the Town of Southampton and the Town of East Hampton, from Westhampton Beach to Montauk, and moves between New York City and the Hamptons. More Long Island areas will be added.
